Frequently asked question about inpatient drug detox

Intensive inpatient detoxification is necessary for patients with severe forms of chemical dependence, when independent withdrawal from psychoactive substances poses a threat to life. This primarily concerns cases of prolonged abuse of benzodiazepines or opioids, where abrupt withdrawal provokes dangerous complications ranging from seizures to delirium and multiple organ failure. This format is critically important in cases of concomitant somatic pathologies (cardiological problems, liver cirrhosis, renal dysfunction), a history of mental disorders, as well as in cases of polyaddiction, when simultaneous withdrawal from several substances creates an unpredictable burden on the body. The hospital provides round-the-clock monitoring of vital signs, emergency resuscitation, and specialized detoxification protocols under the supervision of a team of narcologists, resuscitators, and psychiatrists. This is the only safe option for patients who have already experienced episodes of severe withdrawal with life-threatening conditions in the past.

If you (or your relatives) have a long history of drug use; have previously experienced severe withdrawal symptoms (convulsions, hallucinations); have concomitant heart/liver/mental illness; poly-drug addiction or lack of support at home. It is especially critical if previous attempts to quit have resulted in life-threatening conditions. For example, benzodiazepines cannot be stopped abruptly without medical supervision, as this can lead to death. If you have any doubts, please consult our doctor.

Our support operator will call you at a convenient time and ask a few questions to help the doctor determine your needs and prepare a general treatment plan. We will then offer you an online or in-person consultation with a doctor to discuss the details of your treatment and price.
